MHS Annual Chuck Full of Music (I participated in this event all through school as well!)
Julia had Chuck Full of Music on Tuesday March 15th. It was located at Minot High School and students in the music programs from grades 7-12 performed at different times. They had a sloppy joe dinner and a silent auction as well. Julia had sold tickets to the event but unfortunately didn't sell enough to earn cash for her fund. (Each Music student has their own account that accummulates money, usually from fund raising. The money she earns or puts in her account will go towards either International Music Camp or towards the DisneyWorld trip that the groups take every other year. For example, she will go to Florida when she is either a Senior or Junior, depending on what year the groups go. She could actually go each year if the orchestra and the Choir are on different years. I will have to find that out...that's 2 Disneyworld trips...yikes!) But as I was saying, she didn't sell enough tickets to earn extra money, however she did get a $50 music scholarship from Pinkerton's Animal Hospital!! A big thank you to Louis Pinkerton!
