Blast from the Past

Okay, here are some blast from the past pictures! Since we are in the digital world, we have TONS of pictures of the kids now, but what about when Julia and Alyse were little. So for your viewing pleasure, I will be uploading alot of older pictures. I will do them as I find them, so they will not be in order. (I have blogged all of our current pictures so this will be fun! Apologies to those whos pictures will be on here...but I can't help the way you looked!! And as for me, you can thank my mother for the hideous glasses and dorky clothes!! All I can do is laugh and promise Julia and Alyse I will never let them leave the house looking like me!) If there are any pictures you would like to see, since back in the "old" days we didn't have access to anyones pictures, let me know and I will do my best to try to find them.

Also, this is a blog. Not Facebook. So only family members and a few friends will actually see these photos. Not all 200 of your "closest" facebook friends and friends of friends will be able to get them. It's all in fun...it was the 80's and 90's!

Enjoy!!

Going Back home

The kids loved flying on the airplane again, however it's always more fun to go somewhere than it is to go back home. We again had a layover in Atlanta, so out came the Thomas the train set to keep the boys busy. Rich slept under the seats while we waited. We got to Minneapolis around 8 that night and stayed in a Comfort Inn. We were going to spend a couple days there and do the Mall of America, but decided to tackle that in August for Back to School Shopping. It will be a mini vacation right before school starts again.

Virginia Beach

It was overcast but we didn't care. It was our last time at the ocean for quite some time, we were going to enjoy rain or shine!! Alyse found a sand crab, and one landed on Julia in the ocean. The water was VERY cold!! The kids enjoyed playing in the sand, Julia loved the water, and I loved watching everyone having fun!

A perfect end to our marathon vacation!

Water Country USA

At the park at 9:30am ...waiting to play!!!!

This is where we 1st put our stuff. The older kids loved it, Keathan wouldn't go near it!

Keathan sees a play boat and it's off to the water!! There were 3 different kiddy areas, the 1st one we went to was for the older ones. Keathan and Aydan loved sliding down animals! We tag teamed with the boys. I stayed first while the others went down super slides. Then it was my turn to go with them. The rides were really fun! Beats the heck out of Raging Rivers in Bismarck!!!
