Busch Gardens was one of the highlights of our trip!! Everyone had so much fun (minus Keathan's temper tantrums, but he's only 2 and he sat in a stroller in 95 degree heat all day long!) This was Julia's first time riding a roller coaster, so why not the Griffon? You only do 0-72 mph in 2 seconds after a 90 degree drop! It was a rush and she (okay, we ALL) screamed the entire time.
Escape to Pompeii was like a Universal Studios ride, where you travel through a burning city with rubble falling all around you. The heat of the fire was so intense that you welcomed the drop into the water. Alyse loved this ride. She loves all water rides!
We all took turns going on rides. Once the adults went on a few rides, the kids got to go on theirs. There were many separate areas of rides. Busch Gardens is like Epcot, having each section being a different European Country. The boys loves the Land of Dragons. They had lots of fair like rides. The weren't scary at all and the boys really liked pretending to drive or fly. They even had water sections where you could stand in mists or run under the arcs of water. Most kids (and adults) had swimming suits. We didn't think of it. It was so warm that we really didn't mind getting soaked!
