Decorating the Tree

We love decorating the tree! This year, Alyse helped me put the tree together and then followed me with the light strands. The boys love putting their ornaments on the tree, however they keep moving them to a new spot on a daily basis. I love how the house looks all decorated!

Crazy kiddos!!

Julia and Katie

Katie is one of Julia's best friends. This was right before the talent show at Jim Hill. Both girls sang solos..and Katie WON!! We are so proud of both of them for having the courage to perform in front of the school!

(And FYI....Julia is very trendy. Despite my words of ......"in 10 years when you look back at pictures, you will say I can't believe you let me wear that!" nothing helped. According to Julia, I have no sense of fashion. I responded with "if that's fashion..I don't want to be". I just got a dirty look, which I took a picture of. Let's just see who was right...cause this outfit is definitely going in the wedding slideshow!)

Rich's newest project

Rich finally is building our double garage, however it is the size of a house. He tells me a garage can never be too big. Rich's dad tells me Garages are just big "crap" magnets. I don't know who to believe. It is still a work in progress and hopefully it will be completely done by summer. Fingers crossed!

Alyse is learning cursive and does it beautifully! She is so proud!

Julia and Caitlyn....apparently BFF's are supposed to be Twins!

Red Ribbon week for drug and alcohol awareness!
Monday : Sports Team Day
Tuesday: Crazy socks Day
Wednesday: Red Ribbon Day

Itty Bitty Sports at the Y. Aydan and Keathan LOVED to play. The hardest part was actually getting them out of bed to get there by 8:55. Leia joined in too, but was a bit scared. We thought having the boys there would be easier for her, not so much. By the end, they were all having a great time. The parachute was the best part!

Trick or Treat!

It's Sicky Vicky! Alyse was a character from a Disney Channel show, Sonny with A Chance. Only adults with kids knew who she was...but she was a HIT!! She does the skit the same way and sounds just like her! It's really funny!!

Julia's too old to go Trick or Treating now..(sad!!) and carved a mini pumpkin at Grandma's while we went out around the neighborhood.

And to conclude the evening, we did our area last. Rich's friend Chris and his Girlfriend Breann came over and took Parker Trick or Treating with Aydan. Parker is 6 and was a Ninja. Aydan thought his weapons were pretty cool!

Halloween Parties

We went to the YMCA party with Jolene's family and Janna and Leia. The kids had lots of fun playing games and going through the haunted house.

We went to Edgewood Vista for some indoor trick or treating on Halloween. My grandma used to live their for assisted living, so we know how much they look forward to seeing the kids. It was PACKED and most people ran out of candy with in the 1st half hour. Afterwards we went to Jolene's neighborhood and did trick or treating over there.

Ralphie...you'll shoot your eye out.

So Keathan was a cowboy for Halloween, but I couldn't resist this one. This made us laugh so hard, since he does resemble Ralphie from the Christmas Story. I watch it on repeat at Christmas time! I had him look at the floor so he would look sad and then told him all the Halloween candy was gone...there comes the pouty face. PERFECT Keathan! He actually loves all costumes so I hope he won't be too mad at me later on. (I could post worse)

Downtown Trick or Treating

We went to the Downtown Halloween Walk on Friday October 29th. It wasn't too cold, but still cold enough for extra sweatshirts. We met up with Nessa and her 2 boys. Tate was Batman and Jack was Superman, however Jack just cried the whole time so they left early. Aydan was Mr. Potato Head and Keathan was a Green Dinosaur/Dragon. Ada was a Little Pumpkin too. They liked getting candy, but after awhile..enough was enough. They did have a good time eating the candy though!

1st Real snow

The kids loved it! Luckily it melted mostly by Halloween! Alyse and Keathan played in the snow, making snow angels...Aydan and Rich built a snowman in the backyard, but before I could get a picture..they knocked it over and demolished it. Why is that so much fun?! Boys.
