Ada!!

I started watching Janna's niece Ada last Monday. She is 5 weeks old and SUPER snuggly! Of course, Keathan absolutely loves her! He would of been a great big brother...he loves babies so much! Luckily we have pretty much joined Janna's family (and extended family!) so we get to love on all the Olson babies! Ada joins our family everyday from 7:30-4. So far she just sleeps and eats, but before you know it..she'll be as crazy as the rest of them!

I found a desk for Alyse's room and this is now my latest project...not that I don't have ENOUGH going on. Keathan loved helping me sand it. Stay tuned for the finished desk!

Barry's 27th Birthday

We drove to Devils Lake after Julia played bells in chuch. We went to visit Grandma Betty, who was in the hospital. It also just happened to be Grandparents Day as well. Mom, Barry, and I went to the hospital while Kevin and Donna watched my kids at the lake. After our visit, we spent the rest of the day visiting and enjoying the beautiful day.(it was 75 out...the time before it was 52 and rainy) I took pictures of the girls with the beautiful scenery! Alyse loves being my little model.

We went fishing in the evening. Unfortunately Barry didn't catch any fish, but I managed to catch 2. I caught a really really big one, but we weren't ready with the net....so SORRY UNCLE KEVIN!....the whopper ended up bending the rod and ripping the line and everything with it. What can I say...I'm a beginner. I can catch them but am NOT GOOD at reeling them in and actually getting them into the boat. Either way...we had alot of fun once again!!

Aydan's 1st Day of Sunday School

Aydan went to Preschool Sunday School on Sept. 12th. He did a great job, unlike last year where he cried the entire time. He was definitely ready. When we asked him what he did, he said "We color and talk about God." His buddy Tate (Nessa's little boy) was there too. I think having friends there made it easier for both boys.

Julia's Picture Day

Once again, I was up at the crack of dawn helping Julia get ready for picture day at school. Luckily she had pictures during 4th hour, which is around 11. She just got glasses but didnt' wear them for pictures. She needs them to see the board, but really does see better if she wears them all the time. So far glasses are her newest favorite accessory!

Labor Day at Devils Lake

We spent Labor Day weekend (Saturday-Monday) in Devils Lake with my Aunt and Uncle's family. Donna and Kevin were WONDERFUL! We had to much fun!

Poppa would be proud. My Boys Love a Harley! Poe has a motorized Harley, top speed of 3 miles an hour at most! They really loved ridind it, and didn't fight too much. I think we might be purchasing something like that in the near future.

Devils Lake. Uncle Kevin took us for a boat ride around the lake and showed us the houses and Woodland Lake Resort. The kids LOVED riding in a boat..Rich and I loved the scenery, especially at sunset.

The Abandoned House, also called the Haunted House. And it is CREEEPY! We went inside and you just felt uncomfortable. Keathan did not like it at all and kept saying "No Ghost...No Ghost!!" How he knows what a ghost is...is beyond me.

Devils Lake. If it's water, my family loves it! The boys would jump in, clothes and all!

Family! Kevin and Donna made us feel so welcome! They not only fed us, and gave us a place to stay, but they gave us the perfect weekend of relaxation. It was stressfree, and it was so good catching up with them! The boys liked playing with Poe and Brandt and his girlfriend Arlene (called Arlee) were great company for Rich and I! Oh and if you were wondering..Arlee and I DOMINATED on the Lake and also playing the game Battle of the Sexes. The 2 of us are unstoppable!!!

I love random pictures of people just being people. We genuinely had a great time with each other.

Keathan is a fisherman...just like Jesus. (hahah..inside joke, sorry). Keathan loves EVERYTHING about fish. He loves catching fish, touching them, watching them flop which is HILARIOUS (or frightening if you are me!), and watching them being filleted. If he wasn't in the water, he was trying to ride Poe's Harley. He was such a good boy. He warmed up to everyone right away.
